I feel blessed to teach in  a multidisciplinary department that encourages community partnerships and creative approaches to pedagogy at University of Washington, Bothell School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.  I am also proud to teach a  course in the Masters  program at the UW School of Social Work entitled, “The Intellectual and Historical Foundations of Social Work Practice,” which  situates contemporary social work practice within the contexts of our professional history and the ongoing dilemmas of social inequality, multiculturalism and globalization.
